Back in Vernon!!!

After 2.5 years of living in Victoria BC we are back "home" in Vernon!! It's funny how both Jeff and I feel like this little town is Home even tho we weren't born here....I wasn't even born on the same Continent ha! But I've spent majority of my time in Canada here plus our kids were born here....All friends..And lots of great memories...So guess that's more then enough for feeling like home here.

I will write a few posts about our Island adventure....But for now I just wanted to see if I can easy update this thing from.my cell phone (so far so good). And to write about this fun weekend...It's winter carnival here so on Friday night we went to Polson Park to see giant hot air balloons...Jeff and I were more excited than kids ...Kai said she didn't like them...They made her dizzy...Probably just how Huge they were and we walked right under/beside them

...Saturday it snowed all day which we Love! ...Morning we went to a Winter Carnival Parade. It was really fun...Kids had hot chocolate...Candy..It was great! Then in the afternoon we fixed our front yard slide and had fun sledding down it whole evening as we have new outdoor lights so could stay out even as it got dark!! (Thanks H&T) ...And today we had friends over for chilli and Super Bowl party! So happy we can have friends over again!  More snow coming tonight! :D

2 Already!?

Our little man turned 2 (few weeks ago!) TWO Already!!

I always say this...But I cant believe how time FLIES!!  Seems like he was Just born...I remember those last days just before.....I was so TIRED of being pregnant and I just couldn't Wait for him to be out and to finaly meet him! And here he is now...a full Kid! Not a baby anymore (:/)

he has his own Big personality (as Aries, it was to be expected)..he knows Exactly what he wants...has certain ways he likes things....if anything is Not to his liking, you will Hear it.  Most of the time he's a happy to just play with whatever he can find around the house.

 LOves Trucks, Cars, Planes, Busses, Trains....prety much anything that has wheels and moves!

Loves climbing anything but big driftwood on beaches here are his very favourite!

He loves his big sister and follows her around EVERYWHERE!

 He is Sweet and Cuddly!

But most of all, loving adorable and funny!

His smiley face is like sunshine...lights up the room!!

So thankful he is ours...couldnt imagine life without him!

We love you more than words can say!!

Halloween 2015!

So Fun! Kaiserbun was SUPER excited this year. last year she was kind of excited..a little bit. But this time...she couldn't Wait to get out the door and Go! "Is it time to go Yet? Is it time to go!?" She fell asleep in the car on the way to Cook St.  We woke her up so she was a bit dopy still so 1st few houses she was shy....But quickly got the hang of it when she realized people are dishing out Candy!!  She got a hang of it and after a few more houses she didn't even need us to come with her (unless the decorations were Scarry then she let us escort her to the door!)...She would climb the stairs (and every house Had Stairs!! What a workout)...Knock loudly...say "Trick or Treat!" Open her bag ...or pick something from a bowl...say "Thank you!" And walk back down...running to us and saying "Daddy! Daddy! (Or mommy!) look what I got!!" And showing what's in her bag every single time..it was so cute! She would also exclaimed "Nope Not Done Yet!!" Every time we asked her "Are you done yet!?" ...So after a good 1.5hr she was all done. We went home and she dumped ALL her stuff on the floor and got to eat whatever she wanted until she was all candied-out. I as surprised that there was no sugar rush craziness...she has her sweets, had milk and fell asleep fast!

Kai in a Christmas store

Last night we went to the mall to walk around a bit (as it gets SO dark so early so not many places to go to)....They already have Christmas store there...and Sequoia ran in and it was the most wonderfull sight. She was SO Excited to see all sparkly christmas decorations with lights....snow......Tree ornaments...little trains....More then once she exclaimed "Ohh! Look at This Mama!!"...."Look at this train!!" .."oh mama! It's Santa!!" "I've never seen this before!!" ...and she would gently touch things....It was SO Sweet to watch her get lost in this winter/christmas wonderland. Hope she never loses this wonder, curiosity and zest for life and always gets excited about things like she does now at 3.5 :)

It's been so long that I almost forgot I had this blog! I have to find time to update it! I H A V E to! I have to save all the little things, memories etc! That was the idea when I started it and now its almost been 2 years since my last real post! TWO!!

We now have Two kids...Yep, meet Talon

We Love Snow!!

It was such a beautiful, bright, sunny and surprisingly Warm day yesterday....so we put on some snow clothes on and went outside...

10 Days!!

....until we jet off to Toronto!! And time is flying by Fast!! I'm thinking about what to Pack....mostly for plane ride w a 2 year old...I've got some tips already so I think we'll be good...she's pretty easy baby so it shouldn't be too crazy....We never went on a plane trip together before....hubby and I...we had a lot of road trips...and it's always fun....so this one is bound to be fun and exciting as well! Whats Not to be excited about!? We are going 'home' for Christmas holidays!! Whooo!!

....now time for a 20 months old update on Lil Miss Sequoia.....k lets see....I haven't been as diligent at taking photos lately....So I will get the ole camera out and snap a few today...of all the new things she does....Main one is that she discovered the STOOL! ....Yep she figured out that if she climbs on it she can see whats going on up on the counter...sink...outside the window etc...Its super cute to see her carrying that thing everywhere :P

Another thing she does these days is help clean up the table after dinner....she brings plates....spoons....cups into the kitchen and is super proud of herself for being able to help! Hope this one Sticks and she keeps doing it!

k, what else....oh she loves Horses, just like her big Sisi...she can play with all horsies we have here by herself for a long time....and fave movie these days is Spirit :)

She knows how to put her socks and boots on all by herself..

She LOVES bath time!! Every time I have a bath she has to come in too....loves water! she loves playing with it...pouring it from one cup to another one...splashing etc

Loves people....we were just at a friends birthday party and she was super friedly to everyone, not shy at all...as long s you have food you're Good! lol

oh yeah thats another thing she loves....Food!! If there is anything Food-related happening....she's There!

She gives hugs and kisses! and is just super sweet almost 2yold :)

Christmas in Toronto!!!!!!!

Oh how Excited I already am to have the chance to go back to Toronto!! 1st because I LOVE to travel so much...I mean look where I ended up....on the Other side of the Planet from my lil' home town in Bosnia...We went to Toronto 5 years ago! wow! Five!! That's when we got engaged :D...and I instantly loved that city....It was so alive and vibrant!...Also last few months were a bit stresfull...so many times I said to myself " I Need a vacation11' lol....and wished we could just get away somewhere for a bit....And my wish came true!! Thanks to amazing in laws who are flying us to Toronto! :D And last but not least we get to spend this Christmas with Jeff's (and now My) family!! I love them! They are all amazing! We Never spent any holiday with them so far....(Jeff did of course...but long time ago) We don't have any family here ....sure we have amazing friends and we are always invited to family dinners...but for Christmas eve and morning...it was always just the two of us...Which is also nice...We'd always make it cozy and warm and its nice to just be together...but I thought how nice it would be to spend it surrounded by a big family for once...and this year my wish came true!! We were invited to come by my amazing Canadian parents(my in laws!)

Plane tickets are purchased and we are all set to go!!

We are so looking forward to time away!! It will be amazing!

Everyone also gets to see how big Sequoia is now!

Its the Best Christmas gift!! Who needs anything more! We get a 2 week trip to Toronto!!

Yep! Time for our little secret to be shared with the world!! Our little Sequoia will be Big sister in April '04!!

2 April babies!!

We are excided to add another lil baby to our family! It was a bit of a shock when we 1st found out but now that it's been over 4 months we are looking forward to meeting this lil baby in a few months!!

We won't find out if its a boy or a girl! this time we'll leave it until due date so it will be a surprise! :)

Pumpkin Patch!!

Yup, there needs to be a Pumpkin Patch post!! We took her last time but she was...what? 5mths old....and slept through whole thing! So this is her 1st official pumpkin patch experience!

It waas fun...she wondered around....carried pumpkins! ate some dirt...yeah good times!

Fall Fun!

Oh how I Love fall!!...This Fall especially...Summer was super hot and I didnt like it at All....couldn't wait for nice cool fall!! And Its finally Here! here re some more recent pics of our fall days!
