We Love Snow!!

It was such a beautiful, bright, sunny and surprisingly Warm day yesterday....so we put on some snow clothes on and went outside...

10 Days!!

....until we jet off to Toronto!! And time is flying by Fast!! I'm thinking about what to Pack....mostly for plane ride w a 2 year old...I've got some tips already so I think we'll be good...she's pretty easy baby so it shouldn't be too crazy....We never went on a plane trip together before....hubby and I...we had a lot of road trips...and it's always fun....so this one is bound to be fun and exciting as well! Whats Not to be excited about!? We are going 'home' for Christmas holidays!! Whooo!!

....now time for a 20 months old update on Lil Miss Sequoia.....k lets see....I haven't been as diligent at taking photos lately....So I will get the ole camera out and snap a few today...of all the new things she does....Main one is that she discovered the STOOL! ....Yep she figured out that if she climbs on it she can see whats going on up on the counter...sink...outside the window etc...Its super cute to see her carrying that thing everywhere :P

Another thing she does these days is help clean up the table after dinner....she brings plates....spoons....cups into the kitchen and is super proud of herself for being able to help! Hope this one Sticks and she keeps doing it!

k, what else....oh she loves Horses, just like her big Sisi...she can play with all horsies we have here by herself for a long time....and fave movie these days is Spirit :)

She knows how to put her socks and boots on all by herself..

She LOVES bath time!! Every time I have a bath she has to come in too....loves water! she loves playing with it...pouring it from one cup to another one...splashing etc

Loves people....we were just at a friends birthday party and she was super friedly to everyone, not shy at all...as long s you have food you're Good! lol

oh yeah thats another thing she loves....Food!! If there is anything Food-related happening....she's There!

She gives hugs and kisses! and is just super sweet almost 2yold :)

Christmas in Toronto!!!!!!!

Oh how Excited I already am to have the chance to go back to Toronto!! 1st because I LOVE to travel so much...I mean look where I ended up....on the Other side of the Planet from my lil' home town in Bosnia...We went to Toronto 5 years ago! wow! Five!! That's when we got engaged :D...and I instantly loved that city....It was so alive and vibrant!...Also last few months were a bit stresfull...so many times I said to myself " I Need a vacation11' lol....and wished we could just get away somewhere for a bit....And my wish came true!! Thanks to amazing in laws who are flying us to Toronto! :D And last but not least we get to spend this Christmas with Jeff's (and now My) family!! I love them! They are all amazing! We Never spent any holiday with them so far....(Jeff did of course...but long time ago) We don't have any family here ....sure we have amazing friends and we are always invited to family dinners...but for Christmas eve and morning...it was always just the two of us...Which is also nice...We'd always make it cozy and warm and its nice to just be together...but I thought how nice it would be to spend it surrounded by a big family for once...and this year my wish came true!! We were invited to come by my amazing Canadian parents(my in laws!)

Plane tickets are purchased and we are all set to go!!

We are so looking forward to time away!! It will be amazing!

Everyone also gets to see how big Sequoia is now!

Its the Best Christmas gift!! Who needs anything more! We get a 2 week trip to Toronto!!

Yep! Time for our little secret to be shared with the world!! Our little Sequoia will be Big sister in April '04!!

2 April babies!!

We are excided to add another lil baby to our family! It was a bit of a shock when we 1st found out but now that it's been over 4 months we are looking forward to meeting this lil baby in a few months!!

We won't find out if its a boy or a girl! this time we'll leave it until due date so it will be a surprise! :)

Pumpkin Patch!!

Yup, there needs to be a Pumpkin Patch post!! We took her last time but she was...what? 5mths old....and slept through whole thing! So this is her 1st official pumpkin patch experience!

It waas fun...she wondered around....carried pumpkins! ate some dirt...yeah good times!

Orchard Visit!

Sometime in August a friends and I took our babies to a local orchard visit....They had a little toddler tour...Wagon ride...then got to pick apples and finish up with a story! It was a lot of fun...except the part when our wagon ride CRASHED!!! Cuz they were going down this gravel hill and it was too full...so wagons slid down faster than the tractor that was pulling them! Scary moment...but everyone was Ok....and we all got free ice cream! Ice cream always makes everything better!

 Fall is here!! Well Not technically because it's still Summer...calendar-wise....but weather-wise it's Fall! At least here...and I Love it!

I use to be a Winter person....But now I'm more of a fall girl! ;D

Giggles before bed

Just a short note...Last night at bedtime,  after bath, stories and milk Squoia did smething super Cute! She was rolling all over the bed and then sat up and started "talking"...so she would say a lil babble and then Laugh at watever she said! And other lil "bla bloobrr" and then giggle! She did it afew tmes and even tilt her head back while giggling! TOO cute and I wanted to write it down to remember it! 

Whoa, baby!!

THIS is what happened just now...I went to the bathroom to put my contacts in...and when I opened the door Sequoia was sitting on that bar stool height Chair!!! She somehow climbed it! I don't know how ...Can we say HeartAttack!!!! Lol

Hello :)....Remember me!?

You know u haven't blogged in....forever! when even your hubby asks "so, whens new blog post coming"...hehe....yeah....

Its partly cuz we went to a bit of a stressful few months so I didn't feel like blogging much...
But its all getting better now! Hubby Got a JOB!!! Whooooo!! it "only" took 3 mths!!
Stupid Economy and lack of Jobs! :/

And other reason is because I have around 7oo photos to go through and pick which ones to put on here....and that's slightly overwhelming!
I should learn my Lesson....NOT to take tons of photos All The Time!


But here are a few lines about Miss sequoia who is almost 16 months now! She is getting so Big and Smart too!

 

She secided she doesnt like brocolly anymore....she also doesnt like Blueberries....and PEACHES!! What!??!

Who doesn't like peaches!? Crazy kid....but she LOVES strawberries...cheese...pancakes....ice cream....yup....loves her sweets!

She has a lil game she plays with her daddy....when we eat dinner she'll put her lil hand out like she's giving him a piece of her food....and when he opens his mount to eat it she'll quickly pull it back and eat it herself! and Laugh!

Then she Loves to hang out in daddy's Car! they go in there and she sits on the drivers seat....move the wheel...push all the buttons...She loves going for rides too...and calls the car "Brrm Brrm"

She likes to climb on Everything! She has a little kids table and two chairs...and she learned how to climb on the chairs and get down too! ...Oh and speaking of....She can not climb on the bed too....and come down...all by herself!

She's a Super baby! ;P

 

 She also loves to carry those chairs around and arrange them....I have to make a video of that!

She gets so serious and focused!

oops she just woke up and walked out of the room...so i gotta go! Time to watch "Akkk"...Thats her word for "Duck!" ...her New fave animal these days!

Little things :)

I wanted to  jot this down as I am a huge believer that Little things matter the most

Hubby and I were playing tennis one afternoon...and after we finished I took Sequoia to  playground and he went to look for some stray tennis balls on the other side of the court....and when he came back he was had the Prettiest little bouquet of flowers for me!

How SWEET is that!? Very sweet!!

I feel like people are almost "required" to buy flowers/presents for certain dates ...birthday, anniverssary, etc....and thats also nice

bat when someone does it for you Just because they love you and they feel like giving them to you...It's 100 times more special

Little things add up to a happy marriage and happy life!

Amateur Photographer Contest!

I entered my 1st Amateur Photographer Contest

I saw the article about it in the local papers and thought Why not?? Lets see what happens!

Here are my entries

They will then choose 3-5 contestants from each city to go to aan Air Show and take photos there....and then those photos will be judged as well...There are some awesome prizes.....But if I even make it to the Air Show I'll be more than happy! It's my 1st contest so I'm not expecting much....But it will me fun if I make it through! :)

Saturday hike

Long story - Short; Three or so years ago we had our lil hiking troupe...consisting of 7-8 friends...and we hiked a lot that summer...but comming years everyone got busy...we got pregnant, had the baby...u know Life happened ...so we havent had a chance to get back into it...Until this spring! I am happy to say we are back at it! We enjoy being outside, exploring the great outdors...and getting a good workout! Whats not to like!?

So here is some pics from this Saturday's hike

Horses & Daisies

Yesterday was Aboriginal Day here...so we planned to go see what festivities they planned at the local park as they always have some entertainment, cultural stuff, kids stuff...just to discover there was Nothing happening 

Guess they canceled it due to rainy weather last few days (Booo!)....of course it didn't rain ...but there was still nothing happening....

So we went home to have lunch and then headed to visit our friend Zabrina and her horse Caleb!

He is boarded at this amazing farm along with 6 other horses...the owners of this Horse Center are using horses in therapy for people...neat place tucked in just off of the hwy...You'd never even know its there...

It was raining for Days so horses weren't able to go out in the field....and this is the moment when our friend finally let them out...and they all just ran down....there is just something about running horses....

Then we walked over to a little meadow full of Daisies!
